One of these is the dhuska available at Shiv Shakti Bhojanalaya located in Toto on Lohardaga Road, about 10 km from Gumla headquarters. The operator told that Dhuska is made very special here, two types of lentils, chana and urad are used. Here, 1 quarter gram lentil and half quarter urad lentil are used in 1 kg of Arwa rice. Due to which Dhuska is made very soft and tasty. First of all, Arwa rice, chana and urad lentil are left in water for 6 to 8 hours. Then it is grinded in a mixer.
In this way, Gudi is prepared. Then a pinch of baking soda, salt as per taste, cumin powder, turmeric powder is added and whisked well. Then as per the demand of the people, it is fried in refined oil and served hot to the people with potato, chickpea and tomato curry and a special almond chutney prepared by themselves. People like its taste very much. Due to its taste, people like it a lot, and people come especially to eat Dhuskha by travelling a distance of 10 to 20 km.
Only 5 rupees a piece
If we talk about the price, Dhuska is available here at the rate of only 5 rupees a piece. Apart from this, Jaggery Balushahi, Samosa, Kachori, Barra, Idli etc. are all available here at 5 rupees per piece. Apart from this, we also have proper food arrangements here. But the demand for Dhuska is the highest here.
