Ravindra Kumar/Jhunjhunu. A chaat shop on Golai Mode in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan is quite famous. People come from far and wide to taste it. People like the Papdi Chaat, Samosa, Kachori available here. Stall operator Shravan told that he has been doing this work for the last 20 years. Giving information about the specialty of his chaat, he said that every item included in the chaat is of quality and that is why there is a crowd of people here.
Giving information about the rate of chaat, Shravan said that a plate of papdi is sold for Rs 30, samosa for Rs 25 and kachori for Rs 30. He told that he makes only 50 to 60 pieces a day and sells only that many pieces every day. Every day fresh samosas, kachori and papdi are made at their own cart. Shravan told that his cart is not a mobile cart. People come here for the taste. He told that he has been selling his cart at Golai Mor for the last 5 years and before that he used to sell his cart at the old bus stand of Jhunjhunu.
Chaat is prepared in a special way
He said that here Samosa is prepared in a different way from Chaat and other places, that is why the customers like it a lot. Then they bring it to the stall and prepare chaat and serve it as per the demand of the customers. In our place, chaat is prepared by adding roasted cumin, coriander, red chilli, as well as sahjeera, black salt, salt etc. Shravan said that people come from long distances to taste it.
