Due to legal complications, this film cannot be seen in Bangladesh. Many Bangladeshis have come from Dhaka to Kolkata to watch Shahrukh’s film. Such examples have also been seen in recent times. But a large part of the audience is still waiting for this film. During the ‘Ask SRK’ session on Monday, a Bangladeshi fan tweeted directly to Shahrukh. When will ‘Pathan’ be released in his country? They want to know this from Shahrukh.
The actor also replied
Shah Rukh’s fan wrote, “You can’t even imagine how much people of Bangladesh love you. Especially I love you blindly. I can’t tell you how much I respect you. When will I see you in Bangladesh?” Will you see?” Shahrukh replied, “I have heard that Pathan will release soon in Bangladesh.”
This tweet immediately spread among Bangladeshi fans. It is being heard that this film is going to release in Bangladesh on 24th February. Dhaka-based entertainment company ‘Action Cut Entertainment’ had last month applied for the release of ‘Pathan’ under the SAFTA agreement. The committee of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting sat for a meeting discussing the matter. However, the film got stuck due to some complications. Regarding the release of ‘Pathan’ in Bangladesh, Information and Broadcasting Minister of Bangladesh Hasan Mahmood said that he is also in favor of the release of Hindi films subject to conditions, action will be taken soon.
