Shajapur: The Shujalpur City Police of the district arrested a person who was cultivating cannabis in the field and a shocking revelation came to light, during interrogation it was revealed that the accused learned to make charas by watching YouTube videos in his children’s mobile. According to the information received from the police, Arjun Singh Meena, a resident of Titwas village under Shujalpur City Police Station, basically does farming.

About a year ago, he planted hemp plants on the farm and got his son to search the video of making hemp and charas through social media on mobile. Then planned to make charas at home. When the police got information from the informer, the police raided the house and farm of accused Arjun Singh Meena. The police have seized a cannabis plant worth Rs 10,000 from the farm and 7 kg 400 grams of charas kept at the house of the accused.

The accused is fifth pass
Arjun Singh Meena, the accused who cultivated cannabis and made charas out of it, is just a fifth pass. The accused was engaged in making drugs at home by watching videos of making charas from hemp in his son’s mobile. However, according to preliminary information, the accused had not sold Ganja and Charas to anyone at present, nor is any criminal record of the accused available with the police.

Charas worth 7 lakh recovered
The accused has told the police that he had definitely tried to make charas, but it got spoiled before it could be made. Shujalpur SDOP ND Male said that the charas recovered from the accused is worth more than seven lakh rupees. Police seized the goods and registered a case against the accused under the NDPS Act and started investigation.
