Farmers associated with the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) demonstrated in front of the Collectorate gate on February 21 and raised slogans in protest against the incident of lathi charge and firing on farmers on the Indus border. The government is using force against the farmers of Punjab and Haryana who are going to protest in Delhi regarding their demands including guarantee on MSP and other demands. The speakers announced that if their demands were not met, the movement would start in the entire district.
