Delhi Chalo Protest: Farmers of Punjab-Haryana including Uttar Pradesh have made full preparations for nationwide protests to make a law regarding guarantee of Minimum Support Price (MSP) and to press for their many demands. For this, farmers’ organizations will march to Delhi tomorrow i.e. Tuesday (13 February). Regarding this, Section 144 is implemented in Delhi and security is also deployed on the borders of Delhi. Regarding the farmers’ march, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has attacked the BJP government by mentioning former PM Chaudhary Charan Singh.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav posted on X and wrote – “What kind of respect is it to farmers’ well-wishers Chaudhary Charan Singh ji and Swaminathan ji that the BJP government is laying nails for the farmers’ movement, the truth is that the BJP government is hiding its shortcomings.” The whole world is watching the repressive policies of BJP. BJP has dug up the road to democracy in the country and the barbed wire laid in the path of freedom has tarnished the image of the country in the whole world. Now BJP Fed up with the government, a nation of 140 crores is standing together, which will make them ‘defeat at 400’ and not ‘cross 400’. The voice of unity will melt the iron nails.”

On the other hand, SP President Akhilesh Yadav, while accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government of doing politics of deceit in the name of farmers, said on Monday that the government which gave ‘Bharat Ratna’ honor to the farmers’ messiah Chaudhary Charan Singh will not fulfill its demands. It is taking ‘anti-democratic’ steps like stopping the farmers who have announced to go to Delhi. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav alleged in a statement here, “The BJP government has only cheated the farmers during its entire tenure. The BJP is also intending to suppress their voice by force.”

Let us tell you that United Kisan Morcha (Apolitical) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha have announced that more than 200 farmer organizations will reach Delhi on February 13 to put pressure on the Center on several demands, including making a law to guarantee the minimum support price of crops.
