Although initially they faced difficulties in cultivating dragon fruit, but later their hard work paid off and today both the brothers are earning lakhs of rupees from dragon fruit cultivation on a large scale. According to experts, the initial cost of planting dragon fruit is 4 to 5 lakh rupees per acre, but once the plant grows, it gives you more than double the profit. A dragon fruit plant gives 8 to 10 fruits, each fruit weighing about 200 grams. This plant should be planted only in the rainy season, so that it bears fruits from June to December. Dragon fruit is sold in the market for 300 to 400 rupees per kg.

Kiwi

Kiwi is grown in high altitude areas where cold air can reach easily, because hot air can harm kiwi. According to information, deep, loamy, sandy loam or slightly acidic soil is considered best for kiwi cultivation. Keep in mind that before planting a kiwi plant, get the pH value checked. The temperature should be up to 15 degrees while planting a kiwi plant. Let us tell you that 10 to 15 tonnes of fruits can be obtained from one hectare. Kiwi plants take 2 to 3 years to bear fruits. These plants bear fruits after four to five years. Which takes 8 to 10 years to grow well and come to the market. Farmers get great profits from this.

strawberry

Strawberry cultivation is usually started at the end of the year. Its sowing is done in the months of September and October. Plough the field well about 1 week before sowing. And after this, mix cow dung manure well in it and also add potash and phosphorus as pesticides. Farmers have now started growing many other types of crops apart from traditional farming.

Which also includes cultivation of different fruits. One such fruit is strawberry which is usually grown in cold areas. Farmers are now earning profits worth lakhs from strawberry cultivation. Earlier it used to be cultivated in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Kashmir. Now it is being cultivated not only in cold areas but also in states with less cold areas like Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh. Avocado

Farmers can earn good profits by cultivating avocado. Reports suggest that avocado cultivation started 5000 years ago.

Avocado came to the southern parts of India via Sri Lanka in the 19th century. Later it spread to the states of North India. It is also being cultivated extensively in the states of North India. Avocado needs balanced nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Fertilize in spring and winter season, organic manure can also be used. According to reports, laterite soil is most suitable for avocado cultivation. Apart from this, the pH value of the soil should be between 5 to 6.
