Fatehpur News: The CBI’s anti-corruption team in Lucknow has arrested two people, including a bank manager, for taking bribe from a BJP leader in exchange for facilitating a loan.

The CBI’s anti-corruption team of Lucknow arrested the branch manager and bank friend of Bank of Baroda while taking a bribe of five thousand rupees. Dariyamau branch manager Ravi Kumar and bank friend Rajendra Kumar were demanding bribe from the BJP leader in the name of giving loan for the dairy industry. Dharmendra Kumar Paswan, a resident of Pauli of Khakhreru police station, is the sector coordinator of BJP.

On September 3, Dharmendra along with his brother Mukesh had applied for a loan of Rs. 1.5 lakh each to buy a buffalo at the Dariyamau branch of BOB. Dharmendra told that even after the loan was approved, the bank manager Ravi Kumar was not transferring the money to the account. It is alleged that four days ago the manager had demanded a bribe of Rs. 5,000. Dharmendra informed about this on the CBI number in Lucknow. The anti-corruption team reached on Wednesday afternoon and laid a trap to catch the bank manager red-handed. The team called Dharmendra with Rs. 5,000.
