A shocking case has come to light from Kanpur. The father concocted a story of his daughter’s abduction for second marriage and blamed the in-laws. When the Maharajpur police investigated, the matter came to the fore. The police have called the in-laws of the young man along with his daughter. According to the police, no incident has been confirmed.
Sushil Kumar Pal, a native of Baduapur Phufwar Maharajpur, is currently living in Ghaukheda Chakeri. His wife Poonam died on 15 February 2023. There is a daughter Kavya (10) in the family. According to Sushil, after his examination was over on June 2, 2023, he took him to the village.
On June 5, 2023, Suresh Pal, a resident of Bindki, along with Puneet, 8-9 people reached there and beat up and took away the daughter. Sold the ancestral property and asked for a ransom of fifty lakhs. SO Maharajpur Yogesh Singh told that no such incident took place.
Sushil’s family members said that after the death of his wife, Sushil wanted to get married elsewhere, but his in-laws had warned him to first make arrangements for his daughter’s life and then get married. At the same time, Sushil’s friends told that he had taken Kavya by asking at the wedding ceremony. Both the parties along with the girl have been called to the police station. The incident is prima facie not correct.
