Fighter Suspension In UAE: Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer most awaited action film ‘Fighter’ has been released in theaters today. However, this film has to face ban in Gulf countries. Some media reports say that this action film of Pathan fame director is facing ban in many Gulf countries except United Arab Emirates (UAE). Now, if the latest reports are to be believed, some trade analysts are now claiming that the film is facing ‘suspension’ in the United Arab Emirates i.e. UAE also. Booking options have been removed from many major theater chains.
UAE distributor has confirmed the suspension of the film
The suspension of ‘Fighter’ in UAE was recently confirmed by the UAE distributor of the film, due to which the fans are quite shocked. However, the reason for banning is still not known. Reports claim that this decision has been taken due to ‘some objectionable content in the film’. Earlier, it was reported that ‘Fighter’ will be released in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with a PG 15 classification.
‘Fighter’ business will face a big blow due to ban in Gulf countries
It is noteworthy that the Gulf region is one of the major foreign markets for Bollywood films. In such a situation, due to the ban, the total collection of ‘Fighter’ at the worldwide box office may get a big blow. Let us tell you that Siddharth Anand’s previous blockbuster ‘Pathan’ had earned more than $12.6 million in the Gulf market and also held the record of the highest-grossing Indian film in the UAE. Hrithik’s previous blockbuster ‘War’ also earned around 5 million dollars in Gulf countries.
‘Fighter’ is made on a huge budget
According to the Times of India report and other publicly available data, ‘Fighter’ is a film made with a huge budget of Rs 250 crore. ‘Fighter’ is being called India’s first aerial action film. It is directed by Siddharth Anand, whose last film ‘Pathan’ had earned more than Rs 1000 crore worldwide.

Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan have shared the screen for the first time in ‘Fighter’. Both the stars have played the role of aviators of the Indian Air Force in the film. Other actors of Fighter include Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi and Rishabh Sahni who have played important roles in the film. ‘Fighter’ has been released in theaters today i.e. 25th January.
