Anand revealed that this is a strategic step which he has adopted for promotional purposes. He said that Deepika will be seen in the promotion of ‘Fighter’ from January 23. Anand accepted the tendency of people to speculate and clarified that Deepika was supposed to attend the first trailer launch but she had fallen ill. He stressed, “Definitely, we can’t do the promotion without Deepika.”
