Paramjit Kumar/Devghar. In today’s inflation, when tea is available for 10 rupees and samosa for 8-10 rupees per piece, this shop of Deoghar is proving to be very convenient for people’s pockets. Even today, samosa is available here for just two rupees. Not only this, Jalebi is also very cheap here. One piece for one rupee. That means, you can have a full breakfast here for Rs 20.

The taste of this samosa and jalebi is also amazing. You can estimate this from the fact that the shop remains crowded from opening till closing. About 4 thousand pieces are sold here every day. The shopkeeper also earns well. This shop is at Hatiya Chowk of Jasidih, 12 KM away from Deoghar headquarters. People come from far and wide to taste their samosas and jalebis.

Because of this the rates are cheap
Samosa shopkeeper Dilip Prasad Yadav told Local 18 that he has been running this shop since 2008. Ever since the shop was started, the price of samosa was only Rs 2 and in 2024 also its price will remain Rs 2. At the same time, a crowd starts gathering in the evening to taste these samosas and jalebi. The reason given for selling samosa-jalebi at such a cheap price was that they are two brothers and together they run this shop. Labor costs are saved. By keeping the price low, sales also increase. This earns good income. This is the reason why the price of samosas and jalebi was not increased.

a lot of children come
The shopkeeper told that all types of customers come to this shop. But, due to there being a school nearby, most of the school children come in the evening. He has only 5 to 10 rupees in his pocket, with which he can easily have breakfast of samosas and jalebi.

Specialty of Samosa
This is the only shop in Deoghar where samosas are sold for just two rupees a piece and jalebis for one rupee a piece. Three to four thousand samosas and jalebis are sold every day. The specialty of this samosa is that garlic, onion and ginger are added to it. The masala for samosas is prepared at home.

customer also happy
Customer Deepak Kumar told that he has always been a lover of samosas from this shop. Have been eating samosas and jalebi from here for 10 years. Firstly, the price is also low and secondly, the taste of the samosas made by them is not found anywhere in the entire district.
