There was chaos after a fire in a government school in Nilothi village of Nihal Vihar, West Delhi on Wednesday morning. There was a fire in the store room behind the main building. When its smoke started filling the school, the children started screaming. Apart from the police, the matter was immediately informed to the fire department. On the other hand, when the family members living near the school came to know about the fire, they reached the school gate. The family members started making noise. As soon as the news was received, apart from the police, five fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. The fire was brought under control after some time. The fortunate thing is that there were no casualties in the accident.
Due to the fire, the books and furniture kept in the school store were destroyed. How the fire started has not been revealed. Apart from the crime team, the FSL team has collected evidence from the spot. After initial investigation, it is suspected that the fire occurred due to short circuit. According to the information, there are government schools in Nihal Vihar, Nala Road, Nilouthi village. Here, girls’ and boys’ schools run in the same campus, where more than two thousand children are present in both the schools. Suddenly a massive fire broke out in the back room of the school at around 10.14 am on Wednesday morning.
Suddenly there was smoke and the children started screaming. The teachers somehow calmed the children. After this the rescue team was called on the spot. After taking the children to a safe place, the fire brigade personnel brought the fire under control within a few minutes. After this everyone heaved a sigh of relief. Police is trying to find out the cause of the fire. On the other hand, the family members gathered outside the school started crying. He started worrying about his children. Crying, he started asking to send his children out. Later some family members took their children along. However, school continued as normal afterward. Nihal Vihar police is trying to find out the reasons for the accident.
