After the completion of the nomination process for the Lok Sabha elections in Firozabad, the nomination papers were scrutinized on Saturday. In the investigation conducted by the District Election Officer, 16 nomination papers were rejected due to incomplete forms and errors. During investigation, seven nominations were found correct. After scrutiny of nomination papers, there will now be a contest between seven candidates including SP, BJP and BSP in Lok Sabha Firozabad constituency.
Voting is to be held in the third phase in Firozabad Lok Sabha. In such a situation, the nomination process started from 12th April and continued till 19th April. Meanwhile, a total of 23 candidates filed their nominations from the district. In these, nominations were filed by various political parties as well as independent candidates. The process of scrutiny of nomination papers was completed on Saturday under the supervision of District Election Officer Ramesh Ranjan. In which 16 applications were rejected. Now only seven candidates are left in the election fray. Now on April 22, when the nominations are filed, it will be known how many contenders remain in the fray. Voting will be held in the district on May 7.
After investigation they are now in the electoral fray
The nomination papers of BJP’s Vishwadeep Singh, SP’s Akshay Yadav, BSP’s Chaudhary Bashir, Bharatiya Kisan Parivartan Party’s Upendra Singh, Rashtra Uday Party’s Prem Dutt, Parivartan Samaj Party’s Rashmikant and Independent Rajveer Rathore have been found correct.
Nominations of these candidates were canceled
Vineet Yadav of Sarvajan Sukhay Party, Balveer Shankhwar of Fundamental Rights Party, Ehtsham Ali Babar of Parcham Party of India, Ram Gopal of Bahujan Dravidian Party, Mohammad Ishtiaq Ahmed of Peace Party, Mahendra Singh Yadav of Adarsh Janata Party, National Equality Party Mahendra Singh, The applications of Rajneesh Kumar of Popular Nationalist Party, Kailash Lodhi of All India Kisan Union, independent Jyoti, Rekha, Preeti Mishra, Maheshchandra Sharma, Nazreen, Deepak Lodhi were rejected.
