The world’s first mobile phone was made by Martin Cooper. Martin was born on 26 December 1928 in Chicago. He has studied IIT from Illinois Institute of Technology. He then obtained a master’s degree in 1957 and was awarded an honorary doctorate degree in 2004. Martin Cooper’s wife’s name is Arlene Harris.
