In Agra, Uttar Pradesh, the government has reshuffled the Board of Trustees of Agra College. The biggest blow was to MLA Purushottam Khandelwal. 5 including the MLA have been removed from the trustees. 35 members will remain as they are. Recently, there was a dispute in the Board of Trustees regarding the appointment of the Principal of Agra College. The members of the trustees have demanded an early meeting with the Divisional Commissioner on Wednesday.
The government has removed MLA Purushottam Khandelwal, advocate Surendra Gupta, Dr. Anurag Sharma, Shruti Singhal from the trustees. Sanjeev Bhardwaj’s name has also been removed as he died recently. Subhash Dhal, Ashok Arora, Sarvesh Vajpayee, Nirmal Giri, Deepak Khare, Girija Shankar Sharma, Puran Dawar, Hariom Sharma, Dr. Andrew Prakash, Pramod Sharma, Mukesh Gupta, Bhagwan Singh Sharma, Sunil Upadhyay, Ganga Dhakad, Omswaroop Garg, TN Agarwal, Devendra Chahar, Bhupendra Thakur, Dr. Yadavendra Pratap Singh, Rajesh Sehgal, Pratul Bhargava, Sanjay Kapoor, Suraj Sharma, Sunita Pathak, Meena Bansal, Kishore Khanna, Dr. Tarun Sharma, Virendra Dixit, Dr. Bhagwan Das Daksh, Dilip Verma, Deepak Agarwal, Shyam Babu Sharma, Sunil Verma, Hemant Bhojwani, Sunil Karmchandani remain members.
Subhash Dhal said that he has demanded the Divisional Commissioner to call a meeting of the Trustees, for this a delegation will also meet soon. MLA Purushottam Khandelwal said that there is no information about being removed from the Board of Trustees. Right now I am in Banda due to party work, I will come and find out.
