The work of Barapula Phase-3 started in the year 2014 to ease the movement from Yamuna crossing to South Delhi. It was to be completed by 2017. But this plan has not been completed yet. More than 70 percent of its work has been completed. It is targeted to complete it next year.
With the completion of Barapula Phase-3, the journey from Mayur Vihar across Yamuna to INA via Jawaharlal Nehru will be signal free. Commuters of Noida and Ghaziabad will also benefit from this.

It will be completed before June next year. This will ease traffic movement in South Delhi.
