With the change in seasonal directions in the capital, people are being affected by fog and smog. Cold winds are increasing shivering in the morning and evening as well as in the afternoon. The minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 7.5 degrees Celsius on Friday. This is one degree less than normal. On the other hand, from 7.30 am to 8 am the visibility at Safdarjung Airport was recorded at 300 meters, while at Palam the visibility was 700 meters. The effect of fog and smog was seen in the morning. This caused the most trouble to the drivers.

The minimum temperature recorded in Pusa was the lowest as compared to other centres. The minimum temperature here was 6.9 degrees Celsius. Whereas, 7.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Aya Nagar. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of dense to dense fog for two days. There is a possibility of smog and dense to dense fog at some places in the morning on Saturday. Smog is expected in the evening and night. In such a situation, the maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 23 and eight degrees Celsius respectively.
People felt considerable cold on Friday. The sun was visible for some time during the day, but before the evening the sun set in.
