Sharda Sinha Admitted Aiims: Well-known folk singer Sharda Sinha is admitted in the ICU of AIIMS Hospital, Delhi. His health is bad. Sharda Sinha’s son Anshuman, while talking to ABP News on phone, said that his mother was suffering from Multiple Myeloma (a type of bone marrow cancer) since 2017.
Sharda Sinha’s condition critical
Sharda often used to come to Delhi for regular check-ups in between work. During this time, one day his health suddenly deteriorated. Anshuman told that mother Sharda Sinha is admitted in AIIMS since October 22. His condition is very critical and doctors are trying their best to save him.
It is noteworthy that 71 year old Sharda Sinha is very famous for singing folk songs in Maithili and Bhojpuri. Sharda Sinha has lent her voice to many popular songs related to Chhath. On the occasion of Chhath, Sharda Sinha and her songs are in highest demand. His song Kanch Hi Baans Ke Bahangiya is very popular. This song is played a lot on the occasion of Chhath.
On September 21 this year, Sharda Sinha’s husband Braj Kishore died of bream hemorrhage at the age of 80. Son Anshuman told that mother Sharda Sinha was deeply shocked by father’s passing. Since then his condition deteriorated considerably.
Sung a song for Salman’s film also
Sharda Sinha also sang a song ‘Kahe Tose Sajna’ in the 1989 Salman Khan and Bhagyashree starrer superhit film ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ which became quite popular. He sang the popular song ‘Taar Bijli Se Patle Hamare Piya’ from ‘Gags of Wasseypur 2’ and many other songs for Hindi films.
Anshuman told that BJP National President JP Nadda himself was going to come to AIIMS tomorrow to take stock of the treatment of Sharda Sinha from the hospital officials. But due to change in plans he could not come to the hospital. Then he called the director of AIIMS and got information regarding the treatment of Sharda Sinha and asked him to make arrangements for her best treatment.
Till now no official medical bulletin has been issued by AIIMS.
