Method of making Tuvar Dal

To make Tuvar dal, cook the dal by adding water in a pressure cooker. When the dal is cooked properly, heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and mustard seeds and temper it. Now add asafoetida to it, so that the dal gets the taste of asafoetida. Now you can add garlic, finely chopped onion, tomato and green chilli and fry them well. Your dal will taste more delicious due to garlic, onion, green chilli and tomato.

Use curd

To make your dal more delicious, you can beat curd and add it to the dal. Curd will add a little sourness to the dal and it will taste delicious. Apart from this, you can add spices like turmeric powder, red chilli powder along with garam masala. You can also add bay leaves to it, so that your dal tastes more delicious.
