India’s Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar was the chief guest at the program organized on education empowerment by Purvanchal School Welfare Association at Sunbeam Varuna. He said that when we talk about developed India, we become inclusive. The culture of Kashi is included in the oldest culture of the world.
Talking about developed India, he said that if the country is moving ahead, then the biggest responsibility lies with the teachers. People associated with Sunbeam Varuna School management gave a grand welcome to Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar. The Foreign Minister explained the role of the country’s teachers in the organized program.
He said that I have been associated with the teachers here. If the country has to move forward, the biggest responsibility lies on the shoulders of the teachers. Because they educate the coming generation. Good education prepares the country well. This is very important in the journey of democracy. The Foreign Minister said that during my meeting with the teachers, I will put forth the policies of the Modi government.
According to the program, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, who has come to Kashi, will hold a meeting with the intellectuals here regarding foreign policies. He said that there is a lot of discussion about foreign policy in India. People should know this. This is also a matter of pride. Today, through the Modi government, India’s reputation has increased a lot in foreign countries.
He said that it has been the tradition of the Modi government to discuss its policies and schemes with the local people. We want to work in collaboration with the public, which we are doing.
On a question about G20, he said that the meeting of development ministers in Kashi brought very good results and experiences. Leaders of all the countries had come to the G20. They showed a lot of interest in Ganga Aarti and other developments here.
