Movie Review Forensic in Hindi: Today every big star is trying to register his presence on OTT. But Radhika Apte is one of those actresses, who have already sailed many amazing boats in this sea before this flood of OTT. Radhika, who has been a part of many web series and OTT content including ‘Phobia’, ‘Sacred Games’, ‘Raat Akeli’, has once again appeared in a film named ‘Forensic Movie’. The film pairing Radhika with Vikrant Massey is released on ZEE5 and is a suspense crime thriller. Know how is this film.
Look, talking about the story, the first condition of any suspense thriller is that you do not already know the secrets and twists and turns of its story. So without any spoiler just understand that Mussoorie is a city where many small girls are being murdered on the day of their birthday, that too very brutally. Sub-inspector Megha Sharma (Radhika Apte) is on the lookout for this killer and for her help, forensic expert Johnny Khanna (Vikrant Massey) has been called from Dehradun. Will come to know in the film itself. But now what is this plot, how it turns, you will have to watch this film to see that.
‘Forensic’ remake of Malayalam language film
First of all, let me make it clear that ‘Forensic’ is the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film of the same name. Malayalam Forensic proved to be a hit but see there are some problems in this remake. First of all, let’s talk about something good, many suspense thrillers have appeared on OTT even before this, but the different thing about this film is that here everything is not happening between just a supercop or a psycho villain. Rather, here things are being seen from the point of view of forensic experts and you will enjoy seeing these nuances. Only one policeman alone will not solve everything, rather things have been shown in a logical manner.
First half is good but…
The first half of the film is quite fun but the problem starts from the second half, where things are just in a hurry to settle. Also, the climax may remind you of the 2018 Tamil superhit film ‘Ratsasan’. Even the victims of crime in both these films are school girls.
Vikrant Massey is refreshing
The most refreshing in forensics is Vikrant Massey who is not just serious like any other forensic expert. Rather, do your work with all your heart. The problem starts when the last part of the story seems expected to you. Along with this, a car chasing sequence was also very strange, which gave a completely ‘filmy masala’ feel to this logical film.
Vikrant Massey has been tremendous in forensics.
If you are sitting at home and you want to watch a suspense thriller, then you can definitely watch this film once to understand the funny style of Vikrant Massey and the forensic logic behind the crime. 2.5 stars to this film from my side.
