Former Chief Minister of Haryana passes away: Former Chief Minister of Haryana Om Prakash Chautala has passed away. He breathed his last in Gurugram at the age of 89. It is being told that Omprakash Chautala died due to cardiac arrest. After his health deteriorated, he was taken to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram at around 11:30 am, where he breathed his last about half an hour later at 12:00 pm. Let us tell you that Chautala has been the Chief Minister of Haryana 5 times.
Om Prakash Chautala’s political career
Om Prakash Chautala was born on 1 January 1935 in Chautala village of Sirsa. Chautala has been the Chief Minister of Haryana 5 times. Chautala became Chief Minister for the first time on 2 December 1989. He remained on this post till 1990, after which on 12 July 1990, Chautala took oath as Chief Minister for the second time. However, Chautala had to resign from his post after just 5 days. On April 22, 1991, Chautala took over as CM for the third time but two weeks later, the central government imposed President’s rule in the state.
What is cardiac arrest?
In cardiac arrest, the human heart stops pumping blood. Due to which the patient is not able to breathe properly. In most cases, the person suffering from cardiac arrest becomes unconscious. In a cardiac attack, blood reaches the heart but is not pumped properly. Due to which blood and oxygen cannot reach other organs. In such a situation, other parts of the body stop working. The heartbeat also stops and the person is unable to even breathe. Cardiac arrest can also occur in a heart attack.
