Patnaik said that people’s representatives and MPs are saying that they are helpless, so there is a need to clean the system. He said that the democratic channels have been closed and it is necessary to revive the system so that the voice of the people is heard.

When Bijay Kumar Patnaik was asked by reporters why he did not choose to join the BJP, he replied, “When we are talking about an alternative, only Congress is the real alternative because BJD and BJP are ‘one and the same’.” on the page’ (like-minded).

He accused the ruling Biju Janata Dal of closing doors for the public in Odisha and said that he joined the Congress party because it is the oldest party which follows liberal values ​​and always follows the open door policy.
