Children’s Privacy: Be it adults or children, privacy is important for everyone. Everyone wants that no one else should see his personal things nor is he interested in knowing them. In this era of the Internet, the thing called privacy is ending. In a way, today everything is public. However, from time to time, various steps are taken by tech companies or governments to maintain privacy. Meanwhile, a similar step has been taken by the National Assembly of France. Actually, a new bill has been passed here, under which parents will not be able to post their child’s photos or videos or anything related to them on social media without their permission. This step has been taken by the French government to maintain the privacy of children.

This bill was represented in the assembly by MP Bruno Studer, whose aim is to make children realize that they have every right to their privacy. This bill has been passed by the National Assembly of France.

Will be punished for doing arbitrariness

Under the bill, if either of the parents shares the picture or video of the child on the Internet without asking, then in such a situation both will have to undergo administrative action. If parents want to share pictures or videos of children on social media, then they have to first take permission from the children and then they can do so. MP Bruno Studer told that these days pictures of children are being used for pornography on social media and then they are blackmailed through this. Because of this, children have to go through mental pressure many times. To reduce all this, the government has passed this new bill.

Is there such a rule in India too?
