A case of fraud of lakhs of rupees with a jeweler in the name of buying gold jewelery has come to light in Vrindavan, Mathura. On the orders of the court, Saraf has lodged an FIR against three people including one named in the case of fraud of lakhs in Vrindavan Kotwali.

Lokesh Aggarwal, son of Shankarlal Aggarwal, resident of Girraj Nagar Colony, located near Pagal Baba Temple, has a shop in the name of Aadhya Jewellers. The bullion businessman showed the jewelery designs to Naveen after which he liked the jewelery like necklace, bangles, bangles, tops, pendants, chains etc. In these, it was agreed to buy 566 grams of 20 carat jewelery and 90 grams of 18 carat jewellery. For this, Naveen gave an advance of Rs 50 thousand and after submitting his PAN and Aadhar card, he said that he would take the goods after 10 days. The victim has accused the named person that on August 27, he got a call and said that he was in the car outside the shop.

When asked for money after giving a bag full of jewellery, Naveen gave Rs 58 thousand and two checks of Yash Bank worth Rs 21 lakh and Rs 15 lakh and said that all his work is done on number one basis. When the checks were deposited in the bank, it was found that Naveen had stopped the payment. After that, when I inquired about the Aadhaar card, it came to light that it was fake.

After the fraud of Rs 37 lakh, Saraf met the SSP on September 18 and submitted an application. No action was taken on this also. On April 11, on the orders of the court, due to the police not registering an FIR, the businessman filed a case against an unknown person along with Naveen Chaurasia and his car driver. Kotwali in-charge Anand Kumar Shahi said that the investigation of the case has been given to Sub Inspector Ranjit Singh. Necessary action will be taken after investigation.
