Format of FFWS 2024
The FFWS 2024 Global Finals will be held in three rounds: Knockout, Point Rush, and Grand Finals.
Knockout Round (8-17 November): In this stage, 18 teams will be divided into three groups, and these teams will compete against each other in a round robin format. The top 12 teams will qualify for the Point Rush and Grand Finals, while the bottom 6 teams will be eliminated from the tournament.
Point Rush Round (22-23 November): The 12 teams that qualify from the Knockout Stage will compete in a Point Rush, where they will earn headstart points for the Final.
Grand Final Round (24 November): The top 12 teams will compete in the Grand Finals and the winning team will get the coveted trophy and a big reward.
Teams participating in the finals
The tournament will feature top teams from around the world. So far, Thailand’s Team Falcons and Middle East’s Team WASK have qualified for the Global Finals by winning their respective regional tournaments. Other teams are still competing in their regional qualifiers and will be announced soon.
Return to Brazil
FFWS 2024 is being held in Brazil, which was also the first host country of this tournament. This is the first time the event is returning to Brazil after the first edition held in 2019.
