While presenting the budget, Delhi Finance Minister Atishi also released the figures of this scheme. In his budget speech, Atishi said, often a common man is not able to afford expensive lawyers. Due to which either he is unable to fight the case or is forced to withdraw the case. That is why Delhi Government provides lawyers to the needy without any cost through DLSA. Through this, only 33 thousand people got free legal services in 2016, whereas now in 2023 this figure has reached 1 lakh 25 thousand.
