Diesel sales were 73 lakh tonnes

The preliminary figures of diesel sales have come to the fore. According to him, the sale of fuel diesel has increased by 13 percent to 73 lakh tonnes as compared to the previous month. Diesel sales were the highest in June. After this the situation has been fine in December. On the other hand, comparing diesel sales from November 2022, there has been a very small decline of 0.5 percent. Diesel consumption is 14.8 percent in December 2020, while it is 11.3 percent more than in 2019 before the arrival of Corona.

Petrol sales increased to 27.6 lakh tonnes

The farmer of the country is continuously using petrol and diesel in agriculture. Because of this, the demand for petrol and diesel has increased on an annual basis. According to statistics, the consumption of petrol has increased by more than two lakh tonnes in a year. Last month, petrol sales increased by 8.6 percent to 27.6 lakh tonnes, compared to 25.4 lakh tonnes consumed in the same month last year. Sales during Kovid-19 have been 13.3 percent more than December 2020 and 23.2 percent more than December 2019 before Corono.

27 lakh tonnes of LPG used

According to statistics, the graph of LPG usage in the country has also increased. In December, the sale of cooking gas LPG increased by 7.7 percent on an annual basis and it became 2.72 million tonnes. LPG consumption has been higher by 7.7 percent as compared to December 2020 and by 15.9 percent as compared to December 2019. If you look at the monthly situation, LPG expenditure has increased by 6.47 percent as compared to 25.5 lakh tonnes in November. At the same time, the demand for aviation fuel (ATF) increased by 18 percent to 6 lakh 6 thousand tonnes during December. This demand is 50.6 percent more than that of December 2020, but registered 12.1 percent less than that of December 2019.
