Ingredients to make Carrot Kheer
Carrot – 250 grams
Milk – 1 liter
Almonds – 8-10
Cardamom – 2 pinch
Sugar – 1 cup

Carrot Kheer Recipe
To make carrot kheer, first wash and clean the carrots. After this wipe them with dry cotton cloth. Now grate the carrots and keep them aside in a vessel. After this cut the almonds into small pieces. Now pour milk in a deep bottom vessel and keep it on medium flame to heat. After cooking the milk for 2-3 minutes, it will start boiling. After this add grated carrots to the milk and mix it.

Now let the kheer cook for 4-5 minutes. When the kheer starts getting thick, add two pinches of cardamom powder and sugar as per taste and mix it. Now cover the kheer and cook it on low flame for about 10 minutes. The kheer has to be cooked until the carrots become soft and fully cooked. Carrot kheer is ready. If you like to eat cold kheer, then keep carrot kheer in the fridge for at least 1 hour. After this, put the kheer in the serving bowl and garnish it with almond pieces and serve it.
