- Yama’s dooj is visible: When death is near, messengers of Yamraj start appearing. This happens when one hour is left for death. When Yamraj’s Dooj is seen, a person starts feeling that there is some kind of negative energy around him.
- The shadow leaves with: When a person’s time comes near, even a person’s shadow leaves his side. He cannot see his shadow in water, mirror, ghee or oil. When a person stops seeing his own shadow, then understand that now some time is left in life.
- Remember the deeds of a lifetime: According to the Garuda Purana, when death is near, a person remembers the deeds he has done throughout his life. Especially he remembers bad deeds. He has told his relatives and friends about his deeds in the last time.
