Garuda Purana, Lord Vishnu Niti Granth: Garuda Purana Granth has special importance in Sanatan Hindu religion. Garuda Purana is such a book in 18 Mahapuranas, in which the deeds of life, death, heaven, hell and sin-virtue have been explained in detail by Lord Vishnu. According to the precepts of this book, food should not be taken at some people’s house. By having food at the house of such people, you become a sufferer of sin. Know who are those people, at whose house food should not be taken.
- Moneylender’s house: According to Garuda Purana, food should not be taken at the house of a moneylender or usurer. The reason behind this is that these people take advantage of the compulsion or trouble of others and make their difficult situation a means of earning money. Helpless and needy people get help from moneylenders, but in return they have to pay hefty interest. People are able to repay the moneylender only after a sad heart and hard work. That’s why don’t eat at the house of such people, in whose house food is cooked with the money earned by others’ trouble.
- Angry person’s house: According to Garuda Purana, one who eats food at the house of an angry person gets money. Such a person who gets angry on every issue and disrespects others, should never have food at their house.
- Kinnar’s house– It is very virtuous to feed or donate to eunuchs. But food should never be eaten at their house. The reason for this is that eunuchs ask for money from many types of people, including good and bad ones. That’s why it is forbidden to have food at their house.
- Thief’s or Dacoit’s house: One should not eat food at the homes of people involved in criminal activities, nor should they have relations with such people. According to Garuda Purana, thieves, scoundrels, dacoits, robbers and criminals earn money by wrong means. That’s why food should not be taken from their earned money.
- patient’s house Never eat food at the house of a sick person. This is because the patient himself is suffering from physical problems. In such a situation, you can give them more trouble by having food at their house. That’s why whenever someone goes to a sick person’s house to inquire about his condition, he does not go empty-handed, but takes fruits or food and drink along with him.
