Speaking to ETimes, Gaurav said, “People are constantly asking me about my return to Anupamaa. Rajan sir (producer Rajan Shahi) had discussed the possibility of a grand re-entry for the character, and we have discussed it. Waited for two months for it to materialize. However, the story had to move forward, and there was no point in waiting any longer. He also felt that now was the time for me to find something bigger. So, for now, Anuj’s chapter is closed, but I see it as a comma, not a full stop. If there is a demand for the story and my schedule allows, I will be happy to return.”
He further told that his role was to start with a guest role. Gaurav said, “Anuj was originally planned as a three-month cameo in the show, but it became a defining part of my career that lasted three years. This kind of love is rare, and I can’t express my gratitude to my fans for this in words. ,
