Gautam Gambhir India Coach: With Gautam Gambhir becoming the head coach, a new chapter has begun in Indian cricket. He is currently on a tour of Sri Lanka with Team India, where three T20 and three ODI matches will be played between the two teams. But amidst all this, former Pakistani cricketer Tanvir Ahmed has accused Gambhir of getting the head coach position through collusion and politics. Tanvir says that VVS Laxman was more deserving of getting the head coach position than Gambhir.
Tanvir wrote through X, “VVS Laxman should have been the head coach of Team India because he has been associated with India B as a coach for a long time. It seems as if Gambhir has come on a ‘slip’.” In India, the meaning of a slip is understood as a ‘receipt’, but in Pakistan, a ‘slip’ means getting a job done fraudulently or on the basis of a connection. So, in simple language, Tanvir’s allegation is that Gautam Gambhir is not entitled to be the head coach and he has got this position on the basis of connections.
VVS Laxman should be the head coach of the Indian team because he has been with India for a long time and seems to be doing less than the head coach. Gautham Gambhir is on the cards.

One claim of the former Pakistani cricketer is definitely true that the director of National Cricket Academy (NCA) VVS Laxman has been associated with the India B team for a long time. He was the coach of the team when India won the gold medal in the Asia Cup last year. Laxman also played the role of interim coach of Team India during the recently concluded Zimbabwe tour. Under his coaching, the Indian team defeated Zimbabwe 4-1 in the 5-match T20 series.
