On Thursday morning in Gaya district, a speeding truck hit a tractor. In the said incident, the tractor driver died on the spot. On hearing the news of the death, the family members reached the spot. After getting the information of the incident, the local police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it to the hospital for postmortem. This entire incident took place on Thursday morning in Chakand market. The deceased has been identified as Bikaau Paswan, a resident of Meherbanpur village.
According to the information received, on Thursday morning, a speeding truck hit a tractor from the front in Chakand market of Chakand police station area. The tractor driver died on the spot in the accident. The truck driver fled after the accident. Chakand police reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital for postmortem.
After hearing the news of the death of the tractor driver in a road accident, a crowd gathered in Chakand market. Due to which the vehicular traffic came to a halt for some time. The father was crying bitterly after seeing his son’s dead body. The family members said that he was the only earning member in the family. However, the police convinced the family members and removed the crowd from the road. After that the vehicular traffic resumed on the road.
In this regard, the police of Chakand police station said that Bikaau Paswan, a resident of Mehrbanpur village of Chakand police station area, had left home with a tractor. Near Chakand market on Gaya-Patna main road, a truck coming from the front at a high speed hit the tractor hard. The accident was so severe that both the tractor and the trolley got separated. The tractor driver died on the spot in the accident. On the other hand, after causing the accident, the truck driver fled from the spot with the vehicle. The body has been taken into custody and sent to the hospital for postmortem.
