A goods train has derailed between Gaya-Manpur railway station. Due to the accident, the operation of trains on Gaya-Koderma, Gaya-Kiul railway section has been affected.
It was reported that a goods train has derailed near Rasalpur Gumti between Gaya-Manpur station. Thankfully, a major accident was averted. After receiving the information of this incident, there was a stir in the railway department. Many officials from Gaya and Dhanbad Railway Division have left for the accident site. A team of relief workers was also sent to the accident site by accident relief train.
The reason behind this incident is not yet known. Many coaches of the coal laden goods train have derailed. Due to the closure of the gate, there is a long queue of vehicles on both sides of the road. Road traffic has also been disrupted.
