Police have solved the case of a youth’s body found hanging from a tree on June 28 in the Tikari Raj Inter College campus under Tikari police station area of Gaya district.
In this case, the police have arrested the teacher who taught tuition to the deceased’s younger sister. During interrogation, he has accepted his involvement in the case.
SSP Ashish Mishra said that a special team was formed under the leadership of Tikari DSP to solve the case. During the investigation, the team arrested a juvenile offender. On his information, the police arrested Shahbor Kumar alias Prem Kumar, son of Ramashish Das, resident of Chhawani Mohalla under Ward No. 17 of the police station area. During interrogation, the arrested accused admitted his involvement in the case and said that he used to teach tuition to the younger sister of the deceased.
While teaching tuition, the deceased used to talk to his elder sister on mobile several times regarding the fees. During the conversation, the intimacy between the two increased. When the deceased came to know about this, he started abusing the teacher and threatening to kill him. Meanwhile, the deceased had a fight with a student of the school. Taking advantage of this, the arrested accused along with other boys made a plan to kill him. After this, on June 28, he called him to Raj Inter College and strangled him to death. And so that no one suspects, the body of the deceased was hung from a broken branch in the hostel by making a noose of the belt.
