Germany tone changed: Recently, a harsh statement came from Germany on the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal. On which strong objection was raised from India’s side. Seeing India’s heated attitude, Germany has started retreating its steps. A statement has come from Berlin that it wants to work with India on the basis of trust. Not only this, talks have also been made from Germany regarding relations. He says that he wants to take it further by increasing the strong mutual relations.
Recently, Germany commented on the arrest of Delhi CM. After which India summoned the diplomat there. During this period, there was clear tension between the two countries.
In view of the increasing tension between India and Germany, on Wednesday (27 March 2024) the German Foreign Office spokesperson expressed his faith in the Indian Constitution. The spokesperson says that the Indian Constitution and I can explain this matter from our respective viewpoints.
Taking his point further, the spokesperson said that the Indian Constitution guarantees fundamental human values and freedom. Germany supports democratic values as a partner on the Asian continent.
The German spokesperson said that this issue was discussed in the ministry there last Saturday (24 March 2024). I strongly believe that India and Germany are interested in living together in the future.
Recently, Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in the alleged liquor policy scam. After which America as well as Germany gave their statements.
