New Youtube CEO: Susan Diane Wojcicki, Chief Executive Officer of the global online video sharing platform YouTube, resigned from her post today. After the resignation of CEO Wojcicki, now Indian-origin Neil Mohan is being made the CEO of YouTube. Earlier, Neel Mohan was posted as Chief Product Officer in YouTube itself.
YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki resigned today. Wojcicki had been leading YouTube for the past nine years. Now after him Neil Mohan, posted as the Chief Product Officer in the company itself, will fulfill this responsibility. Neel Mohan has done his studies from Stanford University. According to reports, he started his career with glorified technical support. Where Neil used to get a salary of $ 60,000.
Neel Mohan has also served as Senior Analyst in Accenture. After this he joined DoubleClick Inc and here he worked in different roles. Neel Mohan worked in this company for 3 years and 5 months as Director, Global Client Services. While he held the responsibility of Vice President Business Operation in the company for about 2 years and 7 months. After this he joined Microsoft and after working here for four months, he again joined DoubleClick Inc where he served for about 3 years.

He joined Google after pausing his second innings with DoubleClick Inc. Where he took command as Senior Vice President, Display and Video Ads and in 2015 he was made the Chief Product Officer of YouTube. After which now after the resignation of YouTube Chief Executive Officer Susan Diane Wojcicki, he will be seen in the role of the new CEO of YouTube.
