Ghatkopar accident victims Kirit Somaiya wrote letter to Devendra Fadnavis Suspend grp Commissioner Kaiser Khalid ann

Ghatkopar Hoarding Case: Even after 40 days of the Ghatkopar hoarding incident in Mumbai, the victims have not got justice. The BMC and other department officials who gave permission to put up the hoardings have neither been held accountable nor have they been punished yet. So in such a situation, the question arises whether the action taken against Ego Media owner Bhavesh Bhide alone is enough?

Even after 40 days of Ghatkopar accident, if the railway and BMC do not have any answer regarding the action taken so far, should it be assumed that both are trying to save their officers? Actually, RTI activist Anil Galgali had sought information from BMC and Government Railway Police through RTI to know what action has been taken so far against BMC and GRP officers in the Ghatkopar hoarding accident case.

There is no information in BMC records

Responding to RTI activist Anil Galgali, BMC said that no information is available in the records of BMC in this matter. On the other hand, GRP replied to the RTI and said that they have zero information in this matter.

There is collusion between BMC and GRP officials

RTI activist Anil Galgali while talking to ABP News said that the Ghatkopar accident is the biggest example of negligence and collusion. BMC and GRP officials are directly responsible for this. Before putting up any kind of hoarding in the city, a license has to be taken from BMC. In such a situation, the Mahanagarpalika has just done the work of getting rid of its responsibility by giving notice to GRP.

The time limit for putting up hoardings has been increased from 10 years to 30 years

On the other hand, GRP did not take all the necessary permissions from the Mahanagarpalika. He said that there are many loop holes in the work of GRP. The time limit for putting up hoardings was increased from 10 years to 30 years. Arbitrariness was done in the matter of the size of hoardings. Many such mistakes have been made by GRP. Meanwhile, many serious allegations have been made against the then GRP Commissioner Kaiser Khalid. Financial transactions with Ego Media have come to light in his wife’s account. All should be investigated.

Kirit Somaiya wrote a letter to Devendra Fadnavis demanding suspension of the commissioner

Former BJP MP Kirit Somaiya has leveled serious allegations against the then GRP Commissioner Kaiser Khalid and has demanded Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis to suspend him immediately. Kirit Somaiya has alleged that Kaiser had given permission to put up the hoarding that fell last month. He claimed that Bhavesh Bhide, director of the advertising company that put up the hoarding, had given a bribe of Rs 46 lakh to Kaiser’s wife’s company.

Know what are the allegations against GRP Commissioner Kaiser Khalid’s wife?

GRP Commissioner Kaiser Khalid’s wife is accused of allegedly having evidence of transactions worth Rs 46 lakh in 10 different bank accounts after getting permission for hoardings. Police investigation has revealed that all these bank accounts belong to the same person, who is related to Kaiser Khalid’s wife Sumna Khalid. At the same time, the person who took the money, Arshad Khan, is a director in Kaiser Khalid’s wife’s garment company.

Arshad Khan is a director in Mahapara Garments Company along with Kaiser Khalid’s wife Sumna Khalid. At present, the police is investigating these 46 lakhs.
