Subhash Gupta explains that to make this dumpling, first of all the onion is peeled and chopped finely. Then light punch phoron and salt are added to it and mixed well with the gram flour. After that, oil is heated in a pan and filtered on low flame, but some more material comes into it quickly. Some ingredients are added to it, which make this dumpling delicious. Subhash Gupta told that no matter how expensive onion is, pakodas are made of onion only. When onion is cheap, this dumpling is sold for 200 kg and if onion is in demand, it is sold for up to Rs 250 per kg. Still, people wait a long time to eat this dumpling and go back only with the dumpling.
