The girl warden, who attempted suicide in the hostel of IAS-PCS Coaching Center in Ekta Nagar of Quarsi area in Aligarh, died in the early hours of March 7. The family took away the body without any action or complaint.

Sumbul Parveen, daughter of Irfan, originally from Mohd. Ibrahimabad, Saharanpur, lived in City IAS-PCS Academy near City Hospital in Ekta Nagar. While staying here she was preparing for UPSC. Besides, she also performed the responsibility of warden in the hostel of the coaching centre. On the afternoon of 6 March, he tried to commit suicide in his hostel room. When they saw his dead body hanging, the staff immediately admitted him to JN Medical College. According to Inspector Quarsi, the girl was declared dead in the early hours of March 7. The family refused post-mortem or any other action. The relatives took the dead body with them.

The door was not opened for the team that arrived for investigation

After the incident, DIOS had formed an investigation committee on the basis of online complaint regarding the coaching centre. The investigation committee reached the coaching centre. But the girl students locked the door from inside. She was scared the whole time. Later the investigation team left only after knowing that along with the coaching centre, a hostel also runs here.
