In which Black Bengal, Barbari, Beetle, Jamunapari and Sirohi are best for milk and meat production. People can increase milk production by rearing goats with less care and less expense.
This breed gives birth to children thrice in 2 years

Because of its black color it is called Black Bengal. He told that she is of small height. Its body is muscular. The ear is small. The weight of adult male is 18 to 20 kg and the weight of female is 15 to 18 kg. The reproduction of this breed is very good. It gives birth three times in two years and gives birth to two to three children in one litter. Goats of this breed become adults at the age of 8 to 10 months and give birth to their first child at the age of 15 to 16 months. Goats of this breed are very useful from the point of view of meat production.
This breed of goat gives 1 kg milk every day
Barbary tap goats are native to Central and West Africa. These were brought to India by the priests. Now it is found in large numbers in Agra, Mathura and adjoining areas of Uttar Pradesh. People are following this in Jharkhand also by bringing goats from these places. This goat is of small height. Its body is quite muscular. Small hairs are found on the body. Black or brown spots along with white colored hair are found on their body. It looks like a deer. Goats of this breed are suitable for both meat and milk. The goat of this breed gives 1 kilogram of milk per day. Its fertility is also very high. It gives birth to kids three times in two years and gives birth to two to three kids in one litter. The weight of adult male is 35 to 40 kg and that of female is 25 to 30 kg.

Goats of Beetal breed are found in Gurdaspur district of Punjab. They are also found in the areas adjacent to Punjab in Pakistan. These goats are also being reared in Jharkhand. Betel species goats are suitable for producing milk along with meat. Goats of this breed give 1 to 2 kg milk per day. She gives birth once a year and usually gives birth to only one child. The weight of the adult male of this breed is 55 to 60 kg and the weight of the female is 45 to 55 kg.

Goat of Jamunapari breed is found in Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh and in the valleys of Ganga, Yamuna and Chambal. Now people are following it in other states including Jharkhand also. The noses of goats of this breed are quite prominent and their ears are 10 to 12 inches long and hang down. Its body is cylindrical. Goats of this breed have very long and dense hair on the back side of their thighs. The average weight of an adult male is 70 to 90 kg and that of a female is 50 to 60 kg. Goats of this breed give an average of one and a half to 2 kilograms of milk per day. It gives birth to a child once a year and maximum goats give birth to only one child in one litter. Goats of this breed are used for breeding improvement of other small breed goats in our country.
This breed gives birth to babies twice in a year
Sirohi breed of goats is mainly found in Sirohi district of Rajasthan. These are found in the border areas of Gujarat and Rajasthan. Goats of this breed have long ears and the body hair is thick and short. The tail is bent and the tail hairs stand up. It gives birth to two babies in one litter every year. Goats of this breed are used for improving other small breeds. Goats of this breed are suitable for both milk and meat.
