Due to some reason the mood is upset or you want to change the taste of the mouth, then Golgappas can be a great option. On April Food Day i.e. 1st April, if you have become a fool for some reason and if you have developed resentment in your mind, then you can enjoy spicy golgappas to freshen up your mood without worrying. Their taste can remove all the tension within minutes and once again the old warmth can be seen in the relationships.
Golgappas are as tasty as they are and making them is not too difficult. If you are planning to eat something spicy after being pranked or a victim of it, then you can prepare Golgappas at home. Let’s know the simple recipe of making golgappas at home.

Ingredients for making Golgappas
Maida – 1/4 cup
Boiled potatoes – 4-5
Semolina – 1 cup
Black gram boiled – 1/2 cup
Onion finely chopped – 1
Tamarind chutney – 2 tsp
Chaat masala – 1/2 tsp
Curd – 1/2 cup
Boondi – 1/4 cup
Green chili – 2
Jaljeera – 1 sachet
Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves – 1/4 cup
salt – as per taste

Golgappa Recipe
To make spicy Golgappas, first of all, add refined flour and semolina in a vessel and mix well. After this add a pinch of salt to the mixture and mix. Now add water little by little and knead the dough. Knead the dough hard and then cover it with a cotton wet cloth and keep it aside for 20 minutes. After the fixed time, take the dough again and knead it. After this, make dough balls and roll them out, cut them with the help of a sharp round lid and take them out and keep them in a plate.
Roll out all the dough balls in the same way and with the help of a lid make Golgappas and place them on a plate. Now put oil in a pan and heat it. After the oil is hot, put the cut Golgappas in it and fry them. Press the golgappas lightly so that they puff up. Fry the Golgappas till they turn golden brown in color from both the sides, then take them out in a bowl. Similarly, fry all the golgappas in the oil of the pan.

Boil potatoes and gram after Golgappas are made. After this peel off the potatoes and put them in a utensil and mash them well. Add boiled black gram, chopped green chillies and finely chopped onions to it and mix. After this add chaat masala, black pepper powder and salt as per taste to the mixture. The mixture is ready for filling in Golgappas.

Now according to your taste, prepare Jaljeera water to be used in Golgappas. If you want, you can also mix boondi in jaljeera water. This increases the taste of Golgappas. Now take golgappas and make a hole in the middle of them and fill the potato-onion mixture and serve after adding curd, tamarind chutney and green coriander leaves on top. If you want, you can also serve spicy taste by dipping it in jaljeera water.
