Even in February, the price of gold was fluctuating at Rs 200. Same was the situation with silver. Prices kept rising daily since the beginning of March. On March 7, gold was sold at the rate of Rs 65,100 per ten grams. On March 30, it stood at Rs 67,400.

According to Sudesh Aggarwal, General Secretary of Bareilly Bullion Association, now the effect of increasing prices is visible on purchases.
