Lawrence Bishnoi is in jail for the last 8 years. During this period, as his jail kept changing, his crime record and that of his gang also increased. Two years ago, on May 29, 2022, when Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was murdered, the name of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang came up and it was discussed the most at the national level. The stories of Lawrence’s crimes were famous only in Punjab, now they are being discussed in the entire country.
Lawrence Bishnoi has created a stir after his name came up in the attack on Salman Khan and then the murder of Maharashtra MLA Baba Siddiqui. When Lawrence Bishnoi committed such a big incident while in jail, everyone from his shooter to his associate came into limelight. Its network extends from England and Canada to Portugal. He gives a signal and 700 shooters of Bishnoi gang become active.
‘Who killed Moosewala?’ The author Jupinderjit Singh did research on the gang war of North India for about 10 years. He says- Gangsters do all this for the name and there is a fear of the name. He told that Lawrence often says – big work has to be done. He said that first the big task for him was the murder of Moosewala, then the attack on Salman Khan and now the murder of Baba Siddiqui. These attacks gave brand value to his name and increased the extortion-ransom amount manifold.
Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang has currently spread across the country from Punjab, UP, Haryana, Maharashtra, Delhi, Rajasthan and Jharkhand to countries like America, Canada, England and Portugal. Goldie Brar, Lakha and Raja alias Monty Lawrence are close to Bishnoi and these people handle the responsibility of the gang abroad. In Canada, Goldie Brar, Lekhpreet and Satyaveer are running the Sun Gang and in America, Gurpyar Bagapurana, Amandeep Multani, Virender, Anmol Bishnoi and Gharman Kahlon are in charge. Lakha Kurukshetra in Portugal, Manish Bhandari in Thailand and Raja alias Monty are handling the gang in England.
Lawrence Bishnoi also has the support of other gangs who work for him. These include Hashim Baba Gang of Delhi, Kala Jathedi of Haryana, Gogi Gang and Sukhwinder Group. Anandpal gang of Rajasthan, Brijesh Singh, Dhananjay Singh of Uttar Pradesh and Anant Singh and Rajan Tiwari of Bihar are also part of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. At the same time, links of Pakistan’s pro-Khalistan terrorist Harvinder Singh Rinda with Lawrence Bishnoi gang have also come to light.
