According to the information, Android Smartphone users can see the new Flyover Callout feature as soon as this week. Initially, it will be available in 40 cities of the country.
Electric Vehicle Charging Station
Google Maps will now help in providing information related to EV charging stations across the country. Now with the help of this new feature, drivers will be able to easily find their nearest charging station. Along with this, it will also be known whether the charging station is working or not.
According to the information, the company has partnered with Ather, ElectricPe, Kazam and Statiq to provide information about more than 8,000 charging stations in the country. This is the first time that Google is providing information about EV charging stations for two wheelers in the world.
You can book metro tickets
Now with the help of Google Maps you will also be able to book metro tickets. The company has partnered with ONDC and Namma Yatri to provide this facility on its navigation app. According to the company, users can book tickets while traveling on metro lines in Kochi and Chennai.
Apart from this, Google Maps can also be used to check public transport directions in these cities. In this, users will see a booking option while booking. After this, users will fill in their travel details and will be able to make payment inside the app.
