Google Maps Timelapse: As new technologies are coming into the world, changes are seen in the layout of the places around us. It is not possible to go back 20 or 30 years from today, but Google will definitely show you the view of that time. Actually, Google has released such a feature for Google Maps and Google Earth, which shows a particular place in its old condition. That means now you can easily see on your smartphone or computer how a particular place looked 20 or 30 years ago.
What is special in this feature?
Google has added a feature like time machine in its map service. With its help, you can travel in time and see the old form of those places which you want to see. With the help of this feature, you can see a building, road or any particular place at the time when it was built. Google said in a blog post that special places of cities like Berlin, London, Paris can be seen from 1930 till today.
How to use this feature?
To use this feature, you have to go to Google Maps or Google Earth and search the place you want to see. Then you have to go to the layers option and turn on the timelapse option. After this you can go back in time and see that place.
280 billion photos will be visible in Street View
Google has also updated the Street View feature. Now more than 280 billion photos taken from cars and trackers will be visible in Street View. With its help, you can visit different places in the world as if you have gone there in real life. Apart from this, with the help of this feature you can see roads and buildings around the world in such a way that it seems right near you. Google has released the Street View feature in about 80 countries.
