Google has given detailed information about this feature. If someone steals your phone and runs away, this feature will automatically lock your phone by sensing that moment. In such a situation, no one will be able to access your phone and the phone will be completely locked.
The company has said that this feature will soon be available in all Android devices. However, this feature will not work on phones and tabs working on Android Go.
Offline device lock and remote lock
Along with this, the company has also released two other features named Offline Device Lock and Remote Lock. In Offline Device Lock, if your phone remains offline for a long time, this feature locks your device. Whereas, in Remote Lock, you can lock the phone with any other phone in case the phone is stolen.
