How to use Google Street View Feature: The Google Street View feature was rolled out by the company last year. Then it was available for some selected cities but now it is available for multiple locations and you can see every place in 360 degree angle. It was rolled out again last year after being banned for about 6 months due to security reasons. Users can now see the locations in 360 degree view. However, there are still some places which can be reached only through static images.
Street View feature is available in both mobile and web. People get more features on the web than on mobile. In this, you can see 360 degree view of any place and all the information related to when the pictures were taken. You will not see all this in the phone.
Use Street View in the map like this
- First of all go to google map and search any location you want to search.
- Then go to the bottom right and click on the layer option and select the Street View option.
- The map will turn blue as soon as you click, if you are viewing it on the web then you can see 360 degree view of every place with the help of explore feature, on mobile you will see blue colored lines to tell about the location
Immersive view feature will be available soon
To make navigation very easy, Google is going to support Generative AI in Maps. Soon people will get the feature of immersive view on the map. Currently this feature is available in only a few countries. With the help of this feature, you will be able to see any place in bird’s eye view with 3D image. The advantage of this will be that you will be able to know in advance what is happening at a place, you will get the details of traffic, weather etc. in 3D images.
